MARSHFIELD, MA (November 12, 2025) – Building on its mission of holistic wellness and community connection, the James P. Harrington Organization (JPH) today announced the launch of enhanced corporate and organizational retreat offerings at its historic Ferry Hill estate in Marshfield. With newly upgraded infrastructure and an expanded suite of well-being programs, the facility is now equipped to host corporate teams and groups seeking immersive experiences in mindfulness, health, and collaboration.

“In recent years we’ve seen organizations shifting their investments toward holistic well-being for employees” states JPH Director of Programs & Events Katie James Sheerin. “Studies now show companies prioritizing wellness report up to 20 percent higher productivity and reduced absenteeism. At JPH, we believe that a retreat experience at Ferry Hill gives teams the immersive reset and shared connection their people need in today’s fast-moving and often uncertain workplace.”

Over the past year, JPH has invested and completed major structural improvements to the Ferry Hill campus to meet this demand, by ensuring year-round comfort and an elevated retreat experience. Upgrades include a fully modernized heating and air-conditioning system, renovated art studio space, enhanced lighting and refreshed interiors, and common areas repainted and styled to support calm and creativity. These enhancements reflect JPH’s commitment to providing a physical environment aligned with long-term well-being outcomes.

In parallel with the structural refresh, the organization has launched a broad variety of retreat programs tailored for corporate and organization teams including guided meditation, yoga sessions, breathwork workshops, sound-healing experiences, and team-building activities designed to foster connection, resilience, and renewed focus. While the primary focus remains on organizational retreats, the Ferry Hill property also offers limited wedding and private event rentals — although its core purpose remains supporting wellness-centric experiences that are aligned with its holistic mission.

The enhanced retreats offered by JPH are designed for corporate teams, nonprofits, and organizational groups seeking a focused time away from the daily office environment. Every experience can be customized to accommodate a broad range of group sizes and built around half-day to multi-day agendas. Recent facility enhancements now support year-round comfort, offering a versatile indoor-outdoor environment ideal for reflection, connection, and collaboration.

Recently awarded a $250,000 state earmark in the Massachusetts FY26 budget, The JPH Center at Ferry Hill provides low and no‑cost holistic programs facilitated by licensed professionals and holistic practitioners. The center offers safe spaces and serene environments where individuals and families can focus on mental well‑being without distraction. Opportunities such as volunteerism, team participation, and group workshops help strengthen community ties, reflecting JPH’s belief that connection itself is a form of wellness.

Funded primarily by grants and donations and powered by volunteers, JPH continues to grow as a grassroots force for healing. The organization is actively seeking donations, sponsorships, and new volunteers to keep the momentum going.
