At JPH at Ferry Hill, every event is treated as a unique and meaningful experience. Our rustic and unplugged property provides a laid-back environment perfect for weddings, family celebrations, corporate gatherings, and group retreats. Reserving the property exclusively gives you access to all 9.3 acres of pristine, historic landscape, including wooded and marsh trails, meditation spaces, and a fire pit, ideal for reflection, connection, and relaxation.
The historic horse barn seats up to 100 guests, or can expand onto the adjacent field with a tented reception for up to 150. Intimate gatherings can be hosted in the small dining hall (30), cozy meeting room, or seating room, while the light-filled art studio adds a creative touch. A private cottage on the property sleeps up to six, offering an exclusive retreat for hosts or overnight guests.

We offer a wide variety of holistic experiences including therapeutic art workshops, restorative yoga, gentle movement, acupuncture, grounding programs, sound baths, meditations, and much more. Weddings
JPH at Ferry Hill hosts a select number of weddings each year, offering an intimate and deeply meaningful setting for couples and their loved ones. Our historic New England style barn and scenic grounds, perched on the South River tidal marsh, provide breathtaking views of Humarock and the surrounding waters, creating a conscious and elevated backdrop for your ceremony. Couples exchange vows in a serene setting that reflects the beauty, rhythm, and depth of the natural world.
Bridal couples also have access to a charming on-site cottage to enjoy a private and peaceful retreat on their wedding night. More than just a venue, celebrating at JPH supports our community wellness mission. Because we host only a small number of weddings each year, we are intentional and fully invested in making your day one of the most profound and cherished occasions of your life.
Life Events
JPH at Ferry Hill is a private and peaceful setting for life’s most meaningful gatherings. Our historic barn, community center with intimate breakout rooms, and surrounding grounds rest along the pristine South River tidal marsh, offering stunning views of Humarock and Third and Fourth Cliff. The main building, a beautifully converted horse barn, features high ceilings, exposed rafters, and warm Edison lighting that create a timeless and welcoming atmosphere.
We welcome events that bring together family, friends, and community in the spirit of support, celebration, and collaboration. Facility rentals may include memorial events, showers, engagements, meetings, dinners, and luncheons.
